Backend Engineer
We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our No Code Builder team. The focus is on improving, scaling, and maintaining our backend environment.
Hatch Apps is a no-code platform for teams to build mobile apps, APIs, databases, and more. We save companies time and money on software development by putting them in full control. We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our No Code Builder team. The focus is on improving, scaling, and maintaining our backend environment. You will report to our Team Lead, Mohamed El Kord, who built the first version of the No Code Builder. Our backend is built with Node.JS and serves as the foundation of the entire stack: platform, components, infrastructure, App Engine, and more.
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying production software at scale.
- 3+ years experience working with Node.JS.
- 2+ years of experience managing system architecture, ensuring best practices for reliability, performance, and security.
- Knowledgeable about trends and best practices of Javascript.
- Strong understanding cross-platform mobile app development frameworks.
- Strong technical leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
- Experience working for a product-led growth company is beneficial.
- Experience working with a remote engineering team.
